I led the team that created a series of event videos, broadcast spots, and marketing collateral for the Chief Seattle Council of the Boy Scouts of America. These local “Words to Live By” campaigns won several awards and eventually got the attention of BSA national, who hired us to do their national recruitment campaigns, the first of which was Words to Live By and the second was “Scouts Meet Here.” Both showcased real-life Scouts describing their experiences or in outdoor adventures that broke down stereotypes and appealed to kids’ sense of adventure. It was all original photography, live-action video production, and great sound design. Much credit goes to director Jerry Brown, art director Ben Hall, senior copywriter Darren Vance, and video editor Doug Loviska.
