The interesting challenge about back-end technology marketing is that it’s hard to visualize behind-the-scenes infrastructure. Syniverse is a market leader in providing technology and business services to telecommunications companies that make modern mobile communications possible. In the mid 2010s, GLG provided a wide range of digital marketing services for Syniverse, including a website redesign, digital advertising, visual identity, and multiple videos. I helped lead all of these efforts and was aided by a terrific team that featured ECD Kalie-Kimball Malone, Art Director Richard Merz, Senior Designer Jim Nesbitt, ACD Darren Vance, Senior Copywriter Greg Oberst, video producer Matthew Perez, and video editor Mario Quintana. We brought life and vitality to an essential technology brand and made the impossible to see hard to forget.

The Syniverse brand is revitalized with a new visual identity, brand guidelines, original photography, and a redesigned website. This involved global production and a multi-talented project, creative, and technology team.

Future Five: Mobile Trends

This video on future mobile trends was shot in London and supported the Cannes Lion keynote presentation by Syniverse CMO Mary Clark. In a matter of a few weeks, our team conceived the idea, cast London teenagers (not actors) to inform us about Gen Z mobile trends, and hired a London-based crew. Many thanks to senior copywriter Greg Oberst and video editor Duncan Sharp, not to mention Mary Clark who is our fantastic on-camera host.
